At Juzo, we strive to help you live a healthy life. We understand no one wants to wear medical compression—you need to, in order to be healthy and keep doing the things you love.
With more than 100 years of experience knitting compression garments, Juzo focuses on designing long-lasting, comfortable garments that fit your lifestyle. We use the highest quality fibers available to make sure our compression garments resist wear and tear, keep their shape over time and are breathable.
Our job is to give you the freedom you deserve to live your life the way you want to, which is why each garment must adhere to Juzo standards: comfort, style, ease of use, durable and therapeutic effectiveness.
One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is, “How do I care for my compression garment to keep it fitting properly?” The best way to get the most out of your Juzo compression garment is with proper care. Here are a few tips:
- Machine Wash and Dry: Wash your Juzo garment daily to maintain size, shape and therapeutic effectiveness. We designed our garments with your convenience in mind. You can machine wash and dry them on low heat. Just make sure to use a mesh laundry bag or pillow case to prevent snags.
- Suitable Detergent: We offer specialized laundry detergent for compression garments, but any mild laundry detergent will work. Stay away from all whiteners, brighteners or softeners—these will damage the fibers in your garment.
- Prevent Snagging or Pulling: Snagged fabric can compromise compression. Wearing gloves when you take off and put on your garment reduces the risk of damage caused by your fingernails or jewelry. To help, you can purchase Juzo latex-free gloves. Also, try to avoid pulling too hard at the upper edge of the garment, which can cause overstretching or tearing.
